hi gave a shout out for anybody to give scooter a look over just looked problem up BLACK GUNK coming from exhaust I have just fitted sterling exhaust so need to rejet carb can anybody advice best size jet for T5 ENGINE with upgrade exhaust

When I put a Sterling exhaust on my T5 I was advised to go up 2 as Stevie said. It worked fine with the 126 jet but it is worth changing up to 128 to see what's best as not all engines run the same. I was also advised to juggle around with the spark plugs but found this made no difference, so its all 'trial and error' and getting to know your engine.

Just an update got jet ordered Jet in carb was a 114 have ordered two sizes up and will try that Was fiddling with carb and when sorting air fuel mix noticed at mixture screw at side of carb Seems to have oil leaking from it
Is this norm ?
I will be tuning this again when I get other jet in
